Location
Cocoa Beach Parasail is actually located at 628 Glen Cheek Drive in Port Canaveral. Daily pick-up is at Rusty’s Seafood and Oyster Bar and Sunrise Marina in “The Cove”. You can have your rental van delivered anywhere in the Port Canaveral area for convenient travels.
Parasailing
To start your parasailing experience, you’ll suit up with a life vest and harness and wait on the flight deck of the boat. Next you’ll be clipped to a harness and up you’ll go on a smooth ride. It is possible to parasail without ever getting wet, since take-off and landing are both done from the boat.
The entire excursion is expected to take about an hour and a half and includes the boat ride as well as the parasailing. Flights last about 5-10 minutes per person. The company does not take reservations for observers who do not wish to parasail, but if there is room aboard, an observer is welcome to ride along for a $15 fee.
Departures
Excursions run from February until Labor Day each year. During that time, you can parasail any day of the week, weather permitting. Boats leave at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and in hour-and-a-half increments after that. The company is currently taking reservations for next season if you’re planning your trip to Florida.
Prices
You get to choose the height at which you’d like to fly, which also determines the price of the ride.
500 ft. Flight – $70 per person
800 ft. Flight – $75 per person
For an additional $25, you can have a photo package with 30 photos of your adventure taken by the crew aboard your boat.
