Theme parks are a staple for a Florida vacation. When planning your next family or group trip, make sure to leave time for Busch Gardens. This park is partially a zoo and partially a theme park. You’ll see lions, elephants, tigers and giraffes while riding on some of the most thrilling roller coasters in Florida. Rent a van from Carl’s Van Rentals, and head to the park for a unique experience on your next vacation.
Busch Gardens is located at 10165 N. McKinley Drive in Tampa, FL. The park is eight miles northeast of downtown Tampa and only 30 minutes east of local beaches and Tampa International Airport. There are nearly 5,000 parking spaces available for your minivan rental. General parking is $15 per vehicle, and preferred parking is available for $22.
This theme park has rides for all kinds. Thrill-seekers will love Falcon’s Fury, where riders are taken nearly 300 feet in the air when their seats pivot 90 degrees and face the ground. Suddenly you are dropped and falling at nearly 60 mph. Get ready for loops and drops when you board the Montu, a fan favorite. Kumba will give you a feeling of absolute weightlessness for a full 3 seconds while spiraling 360 degrees. If these rides make you queasy just hearing about them, don’t worry. There are calmer rides as well.
Rhino Rally is a jeep tour that takes you through the African lands within the park. You’ll get to see exotic animals up close as your tour guide takes you through the open space where the animals live. Serengeti Railway is a calming train ride traveling through Busch Garden’s® Serengeti Plain® where you’ll see giraffes, zebras, antelope, and many more.
