Are you looking for a great place to eat in the Tampa area? Well, you’re in luck. You can find a wide range of dining options throughout the greater Tampa area. Our Carl’s Van Rentals staff have picked a few local favorites to pass along for your eating enjoyment.

Tampa Restaurants

1. Ulele

We dare you to find any restaurant quite like Ulele. Located on the Tampa Riverfront, Ulele seeks to blend fresh ingredients from the Floridian waters with traditional flavors and dishes passed down from Native American culture. They feature both lunch and dinner menus, with dishes like 3 Sisters Stuffed Portabello or “Chief Red Eagle” Duck. They also have a brewery on site, so beer drinkers will enjoy sampling their craft beers and seasonal favorites.

2. Columbia Restaurant

This Tampa restaurant has stood the test of time, holding the honor as Florida’s oldest restaurant. For generations, it’s been owned by the same family and has attracted locals, visitors, and celebrities to visit. We recommend that you visit the original in Tampa’s Ybor City, where you can sample Cuban tapas, cocktails, seafood, an extensive wine list, and more.

3. Seasons 52

With 52 wines you can enjoy by the glass, you’re bound to enjoy dinner at Seasons 52. It’s known primarily as a wine bar, but you can also enjoy reasonably priced New American style small plates, flatbreads, salads, seafood, and more. Be sure to finish your meal with a delectable dessert like Belgian Chocolate S’more or Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte.

For all your dining adventures throughout Tampa, let Carl’s Van Rentals help you get there. If your group is small, you can rent a minivan or a Jeep. For larger parties, consider either a 12-passenger van or even a Sprinter van rental that can allow your entire group to travel together comfortably. For rental information, contact us at (813) 872-7111, or if you’re ready to make a reservation, you can also book online anytime.
