Tampa’s Museum of Science & Industry

Tampa Bay is full of fun, enriching opportunities for families and individuals. One favorite local attraction is the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) in Tampa—located just across the street from the University of South Florida. This museum is great for a rainy-day activity or as part of your exploration of the Tampa area.

MOSI is known for offering around 450 interactive exhibits and activities. You can discover space, robotics, nature, gaming, astronomy, and more at exhibits such as:

  • MaxFlight Simulator
  • Disasterville
  • The Amazing You!
  • Butterfly Garden
  • Imagination Playground
  • IMAX Dome® Theatre
  • And more!

A new addition to Tampa’s MOSI is the Everything’s Fresh™ Market. You can grab lunch—perhaps a Panini or fresh salad—and then resume your tour of the Museum of Science & Industry for a fun, full day of exploration.

General admission to MOSI is $22.95 for adults (ages 13-59), $20.95 for seniors (ages 60+), and $18.95 (ages 3-12). Kids ages 2 and under are free. Be sure to also set aside $5 per vehicle to park your van rental. MOSI is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
