Surf Expo Orlando: Van Rental Guide for Retailers and Exhibitors

Surf Expo takes place January 6–8, 2027, at the Orange County Convention Center’s West Concourse in Orlando. It’s a trade-only event. If your team is attending, decide how you’ll cover the airport, hotel and convention center trips before choosing a self-drive rental. An exhibitor should plan freight separately from passenger travel.

Read the official Surf Expo overview to confirm who can attend, and use the show FAQ to check the current venue and admission details before booking.

Decide which trips your team will share

TripWhat to settle first
Airport to hotelCompare flight arrival times. People who land hours apart may need different arrangements. Count bags as well as seats.
Hotel to West ConcourseCheck where everyone is staying and when the earliest meeting begins. Agree on a drop-off and return plan if schedules differ.
Show to dinner or appointmentsCheck the full itinerary and hotel parking rules. A rental can be useful for several stops even if you don’t drive to the show each day.

If the group needs one vehicle for most of those trips, review Carl’s Orlando pickup information before locking the schedule. Choose a point person to confirm the pickup and return times with the people who will drive.

Make a parking decision before show morning

Review the convention center’s parking guidance for West Concourse access and check for show-specific changes. Verify vehicle restrictions before counting on a particular lot or hotel garage. Give the group a meeting spot and a backup plan if someone’s final appointment runs late.

If you’re exhibiting, review the show’s official exhibitor resources for instructions relevant to your booth. Make a separate inventory of personal luggage, hand-carried items and freight. Follow the organizer’s delivery and material-handling rules; don’t assume a passenger van can use a loading dock or replace an approved freight arrangement.

Surf Expo group rental FAQs

Can the public attend Surf Expo?

Surf Expo is trade-only. Check the organizer’s qualifications before making travel plans.

Which part of the convention center is the January show in?

The organizer lists the West Concourse for January 2027. Recheck the event FAQ before you travel.

Does our team need to drive to the venue every day?

Not necessarily. Compare the hotel location, meeting times and parking before deciding. A van can serve airport, hotel and off-site trips while staying parked during show hours.

Should we carry booth freight in the passenger van?

Plan freight separately and follow the exhibitor instructions. Verify any hand-carried items with the venue and keep passenger and luggage needs in view.

What dates should we reserve?

Use your team’s actual travel dates rather than the public show dates alone. Allow for early arrivals, approved exhibitor arrangements and time to return the vehicle.

With the itinerary and number of travelers confirmed, search Orlando rental dates for the full trip.
