Planning an Orlando winter cheer van rental for January or February 2027? Start with your registered competition and division—not a generic “nationals” date. This guide helps adult coaches, parents and trip planners connect the published weekend to the correct destination, then build a self-drive hotel-to-venue plan.
A van reservation does not replace event registration, tickets or approved team transportation. Carl’s rentals are self-drive, not championship shuttles. For school trips or trips involving minors, check institutional rules and confirm the proposed use, authorized adult drivers and rental requirements directly with Carl’s before booking.
Quick answer: College Nationals is January 15–17; UCA’s Division II school weekend is January 29–31; Division I is February 4–7; and Nfinity’s America’s Cheerleading Cup is February 6–7, 2027. Disney-area and Universal events need separate destination, admission and transportation plans. See the organizer sources below.
| Competition | Dates & location |
|---|---|
| UCA & UDA College Nationals | Walt Disney World Resort; confirm your assigned competition venue. |
| UCA NHSCC — Division II | ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Walt Disney World Resort. |
| UCA NHSCC — Division I | ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Walt Disney World Resort. |
| Nfinity America’s Cheerleading Cup | Sound Stage 18 inside Universal Studios Florida, Universal Orlando Resort. |
NHSCC means National High School Cheerleading Championship, and NSSC means National School Spirit Championships. Its school cheer divisions have different weekends; use your team’s final schedule to identify its competition days within that window. Nfinity’s 2027 competition packet identifies its Universal venue. Keep the event name, division and registration confirmation together when requesting rental dates.
Use the organizer’s final check-in, practice and performance instructions—not just a map pin. The College Nationals page links 2027 venue and block-schedule updates. For school nationals, Varsity’s coaches resources distinguish championship hotel-package transportation from commuter arrangements. Check what your actual package includes before adding a rental.
Have the organizer confirm admission, hotel requirements, approved pickup and drop-off areas, and parking instructions. Allow time for the route, parking, walking and check-in. A hotel’s address alone does not establish its event transportation arrangements.
Nfinity’s championship is inside the theme park. Its spectator guidance says spectators need both park admission and an event wristband; a wristband alone does not admit them to the park. Confirm the correct tickets and access instructions for every traveler.
The UCA Division I and Nfinity windows overlap on February 6–7. If adults are supporting people at both events, build separate itineraries and confirm each destination’s rules. Do not assume one hotel package, ticket or drop-off arrangement works for both.
Review Carl’s 12-passenger van category and 15-passenger van category, then discuss your actual group and luggage with the Orlando team. Count the driver, other adults and every traveler, plus suitcases, backpacks and competition items.
Give the adults a simple way to coordinate each travel day. Decide who drives each leg, who handles hotel check-in and where everyone meets after awards. Our Cheer Squad Travel Made Easy article offers broader cheer-trip ideas; this guide focuses on winter dates and venue logistics.
Keep one shared trip sheet and name an adult responsible for each item:
The organizer lists January 15–17, 2027, at Walt Disney World Resort. Use the official College Nationals page for current information. Set rental dates around your own arrival, check-in, practice and departure plans rather than assuming the published competition window covers the whole trip.
No. The published NSSC calendar lists Division II on January 29–31 and Division I on February 4–7, 2027. Confirm your team’s registered division and final schedule with the organizer. Do not select a rental weekend based only on the phrase “high school nationals.”
No. Carl’s provides self-drive rental vehicles, not organizer transportation. First check whether your event package includes transportation, then identify which journeys you need to arrange separately. Confirm the adult drivers and pickup/return plan with Carl’s so everyone knows who is handling each part of the trip.
Start with everyone traveling, including the driver, then add a realistic luggage list. Ask Carl’s to confirm the proposed vehicle arrangement and fit. Passenger category names alone do not tell you how your bags will fit; share suitcase, backpack and competition-item details when discussing the rental.
A wristband alone does not provide park admission. Nfinity’s spectator instructions require a park ticket to enter the park and a wristband to enter the competition venue. Confirm the package you purchase and the current admission instructions with the organizer before setting your group’s arrival plan.
Match your Orlando winter cheer van rental to the correct championship, approved adult drivers and real passenger-and-luggage needs. With those details confirmed, request your rental dates and pickup/return arrangements from Carl’s. Keep checking organizer updates as winter approaches.
