The Sunken Gardens

The Sunken Gardens is the oldest museum in St. Petersburg. With doors open for over 100 years, it’s a popular place that both visitors and residents can enjoy. Whether you’re there for education or just the beautiful scenery, a trip to the Sunken Gardens is never wasted. The Sunken Gardens is located in the Historic Old Northeast district of St. Petersburg. Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

This 249-acre park in south St. Petersburg is located on the shores of Lake Maggiore. It offers hiking trails, an aviary, and beautiful views of St. Petersburg. Although the nature center currently is closed, the trails are open for visitors. A small fee ($3/adults, $1.50/kids, free/kids under age 3) helps maintain the variety of ecosystems that are supported at the preserve.
