Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum

Attention car lovers and history enthusiasts! If you’re in the Fort Lauderdale area, jump into your passenger van rental and cruise on over to Fort Lauderdale’s own Antique Car Museum. This unique car museum was ranked #2 on Trip Advisor’s list of “Things to do in Fort Lauderdale.” We at Carl’s Van Rentals this this museum is a great Florida attraction.

The Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum was opened as an educational, non-profit organization. It is dedicated to the history of the Packard Motor Company and to highlighting the skills and progress in American automobile engineering. The museum itself was designed to replicate the Packard Motor Company showroom of the 1920s.

In the museum, you can find 22 Packard vehicles, ranging in models from the early 1900s to the 1940s. Additional exhibits and displays include vintage automobile literature and advertisements, unique car parts, Texaco gas station replica, miniature model cars, classic car whiskey decanters, and more.

The Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum is within easy driving distance of the greater Fort Lauderdale Beach area. You can easily pile into your passenger van rental and enjoy an afternoon at the museum. (TripAdvisor recommends that you take 2 to 3 hours to enjoy the museum.)
