If you’re ready to have fun, be active, and give back, then the Floriday Brewery Running Series is perfect for you! Every 5K race that the Brewery Running Series hosts begins and ends at a local brewery. On February 12, 2022, the race will start at the American Icon Brewery. This 5K event takes place just a stone’s throw away from the beach on February 12, 2022. Its focus is to get your heart rate up and appreciate the movement of your body. It’s a great non-competitive event for families or people of all ages. So, if you’re looking for something fun to do with friends or family, then get everyone signed up here.
The coast state road of A1A is the perfect backdrop to any road trip from Fort Lauderdale down to the Keys. It’s also a prime location for the Publix Ft Lauderdale A1A Marathon. So, coming up on February 19-20, 2022, runners can enjoy the beautiful scenery as they jog along the A1A in a full or half marathon event. Once you cross the finish line, you can rest or ice your legs and feet at the post-race beach party.
Rounding out the month of runner’s events is the Sistrunk 5K on February 26, 2022. This run takes you down the historic Sistrunk Boulevard in the Dorsey Riverbend neighborhood. As one of Southern Florida’s premier running events, this fantastic event supports the Chris Smith All-Star Classic and its efforts to combat childhood obesity.
