About the Aquarium
The Florida Aquarium is teeming with marine creatures from around the world, ready for you to get a firsthand look. You can see fish, reptiles, mammals, and more. Here are just a few of the exhibits you can check out:

Each display gives the visitor an up-close look at diverse wildlife from Florida and beyond. It’s both interactive and educational. In addition to the exhibits, you can also get a seat for one of the aquarium’s daily shows, cool off at the splash pad, or add on an adventure like a dolphin cruise or up-close interaction with penguins. You can also grab a bite to eat at Café Ray, or do a little shopping in the Aquarium Gift Shop.
Getting There
When it comes to finding a central Tampa attraction, the Florida Aquarium is a great choice. Whether you’re coming to Tampa on a day trip or you’re already staying downtown, the Aquarium is in the heart of the city. You can visit the Aquarium, walk around downtown, grab dinner at a local restaurant, and still make it back to your hotel for time to swim in the pool.
