You just cannot come to Tampa without spending a day—or at least an afternoon—at the Lowry Park Zoo. This attraction has been rated not only as a top Tampa attraction, but also as a top zoo in the United States.
MOSI—or the Museum of Science & Industry—is a perfect attraction for families looking for something to do on a rainy day. (Although the museum is fantastic no matter what the weather!) You can enjoy numerous exhibits, spend some time at the planetarium, or even catch an IMAX movie.

A Tampa visitor-favorite for viewing exotic felines up close is none other than Big Cat Rescue. What began as a concerned citizen wanting to save exotic cats from misuse or neglect has expanded into one of the largest animal rescue efforts in the area.
