Here are a few attractions our crew at Carl’s Van Rentals thinks you should consider.
This local museum is a fun and interactive attraction for all ages. From sharks native to the Florida coast to how the human body works, the Museum of Discovery & Science has exhibits to interest everyone.
You and your kids can experience a wide range of creative and artistic displays and exhibits at the Young at Art Children’s Museum. The museum aims to ignite the imagination and encourage the arts with exhibits like CultureScapes, GreenScapes, and more.
Experience the Everglades for yourself at Sawgrass Recreation Park, just outside Fort Lauderdale, FL. Your family can take an airboat ride and see the unique ecosystem of the Everglades for itself (and have a lot of fun doing it).
Get the kids out and into nature at Hugh Taylor Beach State Park. You can take a picnic lunch, go on a hike, or even try your hand at fishing. Be sure to also bring your camera for some nice family pictures along the beach.
The kids will love to take a water taxi through the Intracoastal Waterways of Fort Lauderdale, and you can just sit back and enjoy the ride. You may just take a ride for the sake of it or en route to many waterfront restaurants.
For all your Fort Lauderdale family adventures, let Carl’s help you get there. We have family-friendly minivans to passenger vans, which are great if you have a bunch of kids or if you’re vacationing with other families. Check out our current rental specials, and contact us at (954) 525-8008 to make a reservation.
