These policies are in place so that everyone is on the same page and you know what you’re getting when you rent from us. Still, there are just a few we’d like to highlight as a reminder of what it means to drive off the lot in a rental from Carl’s Van Rentals.
1. Age Requirements
While most rental companies require drivers to be 25 and older, our insurance policy allows us to rent to those as young as 21. However, we still charge an underage fee of $19 per day for any driver between the ages of 21 to 24. Furthermore, as a part of our rental car policies, you must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance before driving off the lot.
2. Airport Services
If you’re flying into the Jacksonville, FL, area, we’ll gladly meet you at the airport! Our rental policy now includes free delivery and pick-up so that you can easily rent from us. However, we ask that all renters complete their online paperwork 48 hours in advance. This gives our team enough time to clean the van and arrange schedules to meet our promised accommodations. This 48-hour timeline also gives us time to contact you should there be any issues.
3. Cancellations
All of our rental car policies come with a cancellation clause. This includes a prepayment of $100 and a 14-day window for cancellations. Should you need to cancel your reservation, you can do so up to 14 days prior and expect a full refund. However, if you cancel with less than 14 days left, your prepayment is converted to store credit and can be used at full value at any of our locations.
