About Great Explorations

Great Explorations Children’s Museum is a non-profit organization that’s designed to spur the imaginations of kids ages 10 and under. Here you can find areas geared toward creative play, educational exhibits, hands-on learning, and much more. Some of the popular exhibits include:

Build It: This area is great for kids with engineering minds!
Critter Cave: Get a close-up look at some creepy crawly reptiles and arachnids.
Express Yourself Art Studio: Build, create, sculpt!
And more!

Admission & Hours

The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4:30 p.m. Note that Great Explorations is closed on major holidays, such as Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. Admissions rates are as follows:

Kids under age 1: Free
Ages 1-54: $10 per person
Ages 55+: $9 per person

Note that you may qualify for special discounts, such as military, educators, AAA members, and so on. Ask whether these deals are available to you.
