Vacationing in Miami on a Budget

Are you planning a trip to beautiful Miami, FL but don’t want to go broke in the process? Don’t fret. Miami is full of things to do on a limited budget. We at Carl’s Van Rentals want to pass along these few free (or insanely cheap) Miami attractions and activities. Be sure to also check out our van rental deals for additional savings!

1. Relax on the beach.

Most people come to Miami for sand and surf, and the beach is always free! So pack a picnic lunch, some sunscreen, and a good book, and settle down on South Beach for the day. You can lounge, do some people watching, and just relax in the Florida sun.

2. Experience an art walk.

Miami is known for its diversity, so why should its art community not follow suit? You can take part in one or more art walks that happen throughout the city, featuring different types of art and one-of-a-kind galleries. One popular option is the Wynwood Art Walk in that neighborhood’s design district.

3. Check out the free admission days for local museums.

You can always find Miami museums offering free admission. The MDC Museum & Galleries of Art + Design, the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum, and the Bay of Pigs Museum are always free. Others, like the Gold Coast Museum or HistoryMiami, have specific “free days,” but you will want to check the individual museum’s website for more specifics.

4. Go for a drive.

Load your family or friends into your van rental, and take a drive down the Florida coast. See where your adventurous spirit leads you! You can stop to take pictures, grab a bite to eat, or check out fun attractions you pass along the way.

For the best van rental deals, contact Carl’s Van Rentals of Miami at 954-525-8008. We carry minivan rentals, 12 passenger van rentals, 15 passenger van rentals, and more. We’ll help you find a reliable but affordable van rental so you can enjoy Miami without taking out a loan.
