The hard part about taking a vacation to the Sunshine State is finding time to fit in all of the activities on your to-do list. If you have a love for art and an extra space on your list, take your Ft. Lauderdale van rental to the Museum of Art to take in some world-class art, and you will add a touch of sophistication to your trip.

Location

To reach the Museum of Art, drive your Ft. Lauderdale van rental from Carl’s Van Rentals to One East Las Olas Blvd. in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Exhibitions

Here’s a quick sample of the great exhibitions you’ll see when you visit the museum.

Woman’s World: Contemporary Views of Women by Women: This exhibition features photographs of women by female photographers. The exhibition’s 40 different photographs, taken by multiple photographers ranging from the 1950s to today, illustrate the explosion of female photographers in an industry once dominated by men.

Who Am I to You? This annual exhibition features work by some of Florida’s premiere artists. The pieces featured here were created by recipients of the 2013 South Florida Cultural Consortium Visual and Media Arts Fellowship grant.

Highlights from the William J. Glackens Collection: Known as America’s Renoir in his time, William J. Glackens is one of our country’s most renowned artists. The museum is lucky to have a vast collection of his work, and this exhibition features many of the artist’s best work and even some rarities.
