Top 3 Beaches near West Palm Beach

You didn’t rent a minivan in West Palm Beach to spend your entire vacation at the hotel. You’re ready to explore the sand and surf! If you want to check out some of the best beaches in the greater West Palm Beach area, our staff at Carl’s Van Rentals recommends that you start with these three.

1. Palm Beach

Located only a few miles from Palm Beach International Airport, this sandy hot spot needs to be on your list. Not only does it offer a great place for you to relax under your beach umbrella, but you can also find great nearby shopping, dining, and cultural experiences.

2. Ocean Reef Park

With about 700 feet of guarded beachfront, Ocean Reef Park is a fun beach to visit—located just down the road in Riviera Beach, FL. Even though it’s a small beach, Ocean Reef still has all the amenities you need, including restrooms, showers, playground, picnic tables, and more.

3. Peanut Island Beach

You’ll need a boat or water taxi to get there, but most visitors enjoy their time at Peanut Island Park. They have designated guarded swimming areas for beach fun, and you can also enjoy camping, fishing, walking paths, and more.

You’re sure to find a beach to meet your needs in the greater West Palm Beach area. You could easily visit one beach each day and still have more to explore on your next visit.

For all your West Palm Beach travels, be sure to check out Carl’s inventory of quality minivans, passenger vans, Sprinter vans, and more. You’re sure to find a van rental that can get you, your crew, and all your gear to one of our local beaches. To make a reservation, contact Carl’s at (561) 469-9200 during regular business hours, or use our online reservation-request system any time.
