Location
The park is located less than 10 miles northwest of Carl’s Van Rentals’ Orlando office. An enclosed parking garage is available for your passenger van rental for a $16 fee. Valet parking is also available for a $30 fee for those staying over two hours at the park.
Island of Adventures
This theme park can make you feel like you’ve just been dropped into scenes of your favorite movies. Take pictures with superheroes, and ride some of the most thrilling rides in Florida. Unique to Island of Adventures is the Harry Potter™ portion of the park. You get to feel like you’re walking through the middle of Hogwarts in a land of magic and wizardry.
From January 24-26, 2014, there will be A Celebration of Harry Potter™ at Universal Orlando Resort. Three actors from the movies, including Ron Weasley’s twin brothers, will be present to assist in the celebration. Question and answer sessions will take place with the cast members, and a wand-master class will be hosted by Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter™.
Aside from the Harry Potter™ attractions, Mardi Gras celebrations take place throughout the park from February 8-May 31. Concerts, live entertainment and extravagant parades take place frequently for the enjoyment of guests.
