Location
Rapids Water Park is located in Riviera Beach, FL. When you rent a van in West Palm Beach from Carl’s Van Rentals, you have a short trip of less than 20 minutes to reach the water park. Parking is available for your passenger van rental for $10 per vehicle in general parking. Preferred parking closer to the main entrance is available for $20 per vehicle.
At the Park
Rapids Water Park has water slides of all kinds, including one that shoots a multi-person raft into a funnel at 20 mph called Big Thunder. A similar ride called Black Thunder takes you through a thrilling tunnel of darkness before entering the funnel. A total of 35 water slides are found across the 30-acre park, including several multi-person slides for the whole family to enjoy together.
The park closes from mid-October through mid-March, making March 15, 2014, the first open day for the season. Always check the schedule and hours of the park before planning to visit, because weekend and weekday hours vary.
