Spend a Day at Port Canaveral’s Jetty Park

Are you visiting the Port Canaveral area and looking for local attractions? If you’ve already been to the Kennedy Space Center and the Exploration Tower, we at Carl’s Van Rentals recommend that you spend some time at Jetty Park.

Jetty Park consists of about 35 beachside acres in the popular Brevard County and Port Canaveral area. The Jetty Park Beach itself is about 5 acres and has lifeguards on duty for your safety and protection. You can also rent beach equipment and utilize the on-site bathroom and outdoor shower facility.

Beyond the beach, Jetty Park has pavilions, a concession area, and a playground. Many people choose to have their family reunions at a Jetty Park pavilion for all its amenities. If you’re bringing in a few passenger van rentals full of family and friends, you may want to consider renting a pavilion for your time at the park. (You can check out the Jetty Park website for rates and booking instructions.)

The Jetty Park concession is in the two-story pavilion. At the concession area, you can purchase everything from a drink to a fish sandwich. You can pick up just a snack or enjoy a full-fledged meal. The playground is also nearby for kids to enjoy and run around.

Visitors to Jetty Park also enjoy casting a line off the fishing pier. The 1,200-foot pier is accessible to all park guests, and you don’t need a Florida fishing license to enjoy fishing over ocean waters. You can also purchase bait and other fishing supplies at the Bait Shop located right in Jetty Park.
