Location

Visitors meet at The Ribault Club of the Fort George Island Visitors Center in Jacksonville, FL before their tour begins. This is approximately 22 miles from the nearest Carl’s Van Rentals location, where you have multiple van rental options from which to choose.

Fort George Island Segway Tours

• Trail to Kingsley Plantation Tour: Kingsley Plantation is famous for its sea- island cotton and historically relevant structures. On the ride to the plantation, you will see several different species including tortoises, armadillos, lizards, and unique birds. The beautiful tree arches and varied terrain also make for an eventful ride.
• Trail to Point Isabel: This tour will travel Fort George Inlet along the Timucuan Preserve. It is famous for clear waters, marshes, sand bars, and dunes. Oaks, magnolias, Spanish moss and orchids line the path of the tour for gorgeous views the entire way.

A training session takes place before each tour leaves, and it is required that you attend before taking the Segway tour of the island. It is also required that all riders be at least 13 years of age. Wear comfortable clothing and dress for the weather, as the entire tour is outdoors.
