About Mounts
Mounts Botanical Garden is a part of the greater Palm Beach County public gardens—and it just so happens to be the oldest and the largest. When the gardens were initially created in the 1920s, they were mostly a collection of fruit trees. However, today the gardens have grown and expanded to include:
- Begonia Garden
- Butterfly Garden
- Children’s Maze
- An Edible Landscape
- Gazebo Garden
- And more
You can always find something in bloom year round and even take something home for yourself at the Mounts Nursery.
Hours & Admission
Because the mission of Mounts Botanical Garden is to allow access to as many people as possible as an educational initiative, admission is free to members and asks for a $5 suggested donation for other adults and children over age 12. This rate allows children and large families to experience a unique side of West Palm Beach without going broke. You can visit the gardens seven days a week between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
