Don’t Miss the Tortuga Music Festival

Only five years old, the Tortuga Music Festival has quickly become a favorite event for residents and visitors to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. And what’s not to love? You can enjoy great music from some of the best artists in country, rock, or roots for three days—all while soaking in the sand and sun at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. That’s a big win if you ask our crew at Carl’s Van Rentals.

In case you’re considering a trip to enjoy the festival, here’s what you need to know.

About the Festival

The Tortuga Music Festival takes place April 7 through 9, 2017 at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. The event pairs celebration of music with marine conservation awareness by partnering with Rock the Ocean Foundation. For three days, you can discover more about ocean construction conservation while also enjoying music by artists like Luke Bryan, Maran Morris, Nelly, Darius Rucker, and more. You can purchase tickets for one or all three days by going directly to the Tortuga Music Festival website.

Local Accommodations

You can find plenty of places to stay around the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park area. However, note that you’ll want to reserve your hotel or alternative accommodations as soon as possible because of the number of fans that flow into Fort Lauderdale during the festival. To save a few bucks, you and your friends can plan to stay a bit farther away from the beach and then just rent a passenger van from us to go back and forth.
