Are you looking for a non-theme-park attraction in Orlando? Want a place to get away from the crowds and just soak in the Florida sunshine? If you answered “yes!”, then we at Carl’s Van Rentals suggest that you plan an outing to Leu Gardens in Orlando, Florida. Here’s what this botanical oasis has to offer.

Leu Gardens in Orlando

The Gardens

Nestled on 50 gorgeous acres outside Downtown Orlando, Leu Gardens has multiple gardens that visitors can explore. You can take a stroll through many walking trails, making your way through the Rose Garden, the Butterfly Garden, the Arid Garden, and much more. All garden tours are self-guided.

The Leu House Museum

At the center of the Leu Gardens sits the historic Leu House Museum. Built in the 19th century, the house has a rich history from the Floridian families who lived there. Harry P. Leu was the last owner of the house, and he donated his gorgeous estate to the City of Orlando. The Leu House has been restored and now offers daily walking tours.

Information

The Leu Gardens and the House Museum are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will want to arrive before 4:30 p.m. in order to gain entrance. Admission prices range from $10 for adults to $3 for school-age children (kids 4 and under are free). If you have a passenger van rental full of guests, Leu Gardens does have some group pricing available for school groups, clubs, and organizations. You will want to contact the Leu Garden office directly for those rates.
