If you happen to be in Jacksonville on the first Wednesday of the month, be sure to check out the Jacksonville Downtown Art Walk. This celebration of good art, good food, good music, and local businesses and organizations gives you a genuine taste of the real Jacksonville, Florida.

You can stroll for over 15 blocks, stopping to enjoy local cuisine, purchase some local artwork, or enjoy a live street performance in Hemming Plaza. The Art Walk is held from 5 pm to 9 pm, regardless of the weather. This monthly event brings thousands of people to the downtown area, and parking is often first come first serve.
