5 Tips for Planning Your Disney Vacation

That way, you have the money you need to experience Disney the way you want, and you can still afford that minivan rental to get back to the hotel.

3. Get the scoop.

If it’s your first time visiting Disney World, you may want to do a test run before trying to get to ALL the attractions. Another good idea is to ask a friend or family member who has made several trips to Disney what they recommend in terms of what to see, where to stay, and which “extras” are worth the time and money. 4. Consider your companions.

The ages and interests of your kids or other travel companions may dictate where you go inside Disney. If you have kiddos who love animals, then spend a day at Animal Kingdom. If you want time to splash and enjoy the hot Florida weather, then consider one of the Disney water parks: Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.

5. Take your time.
