3 Reasons to Book Your Group Travel Early

With spring upon us and summer right around the corner, more and more people will be planning group travel. A summer trip with a group of friends is one of the best ways to save money and have a lot of fun! You can save even more of your hard-earned dollars when you book a 15-passenger van with Carl’s Van Rentals. But why should you book your rental now rather than wait? Here are three reasons.

1. Bookings Fill Up Quickly

Our peak season is approaching, which means our rentals are going quickly. Many people are getting married, having family reunions, or traveling with sports leagues that require larger vans throughout the summer. So, if you’re planning a fun-filled vacation for 12 or more people, you’re going to want to book soon. We recommend you book a rental van at least two or three months before your group travel dates.

2. Cost Savings

Traveling as a group can help save money, especially when it comes to transportation. By booking a rental van for your entire party, you eliminate the need for multiple rentals. You can also secure the best rates, which usually means you’ll be able to split a lower rental bill between everyone in your group. Group travel also means you can save money at the pump by filling one tank instead of multiple.

3. Time for Extra Planning

When you book a rental early in your planning process, you then have time to think about other activities. Taking care of your transportation right away means you know what other activities you can budget into your travel plans. These may be things like snorkeling along the coast or taking the group to the museum for the day. Either way, checking off your van rental will give you plenty of time to coordinate with everyone else on what they want to do.
