3 Holiday Attractions in Miami, FL

Are you looking for festive events or destinations to enjoy this holiday season? While the Miami sunshine and warm weather may not feel much like the North Pole, you can still get your fill of holiday spirit in Miami. Carl’s Van Rentals of Miami recommends that you hop in your van rental and check out three Miami-based Christmas attractions.

1. Santa’s Enchanted Forest

From October 30, 2014 through January 4, 2015, you can step into a Christmas wonderland at Santa’s Enchanted Forest. From the millions of twinkling lights to holiday displays, Santa’s Enchanted Forest can put everyone in the holiday spirit. Miami expert Renee Chapple says “Only Scrooge himself wouldn’t ho-ho-ho here!” You can drive through the park in your van rental or stop and enjoy the ambience—or sit on Santa’s lap! For more detailed information and directions, check out the Santa’s Enchanted Forest website.

2. The Nutcracker by Miami City Ballet

The Miami City Ballet performs George Ballanchine’s The Nutcracker at the Broward Center from December 12 through December 30, 2014. This performance is a holiday classic, one that individuals and families alike can enjoy. The Miami City Ballet encourages visitors to “bring the family together to witness the #1 holiday spectacular.” To get more information on dates, times or reservations, go to www.miamicityballet.com.

3. Christmas in The Village

How does an evening of good food and drinks, dancing, and Christmas music in downtown Miami sound? Celebrate the season with your special someone or close friends by enjoying a night out at Christmas in The Village on December 13, 2014 from noon to 11 p.m. You can purchase tickets to this event and get more details at Eventbrite. Note that this event is probably best suited for adults only.
