Top 3 Waterfront Restaurants in Cocoa Beach

When in Florida, you want to take advantage of the beach as much as possible—and we don’t blame you. There’s nothing quite like a sunny day next to the sand and surf. The good news is that with waterfront dining options, you don’t have to leave the beach to get a great meal. If you’re visiting the Cocoa Beach or Port Canaveral area, be sure to check out these top restaurants that feature water views.

1. The Island Waterfront Bar & Grill

Open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., the Island is located in Merritt Island, FL, and has great lunch, dinner, and after-hours options. Its beach-themed atmosphere lends itself to waterfront dining and is fun for all ages. You can expect a meal to cost somewhere between $11 and $30.

2. Fat Kahunas

Known for its coconut shrimp, Fat Kahunas offers a friendly, upbeat staff and great seaside dining. You can enjoy everything from seafood to pulled pork, and kids can enjoy their own menu options. Fat Kahunas is open for both lunch and dinner Thursday through Sunday, and prices range from $11-$30.

3. The Fat Snook

Apparently there’s a “fat” theme in Cocoa Beach… Like Fat Kahunas, the Fat Snook also features many seafood options. However, this beachside restaurant hangs its hat on offering the best in fresh, local ingredients. The atmosphere is casual, but prices are a bit higher (in the $30-$60 per person range).

Enjoy even more beach time with these great Cocoa Beach-area restaurants. (For more Port Canaveral restaurants, check out this blog on additional dining options.)
