With your reliable, affordable van from Carl’s Van Rentals, you have the ability to get all around Clearwater and find the perfect beach for your taste. We know the area well – we’re from here, after all! If you’re looking for a little peace and quiet, here are our top three beach recommendations.

1. Bellair Beach

This white-sand, quiet beach on the barrier island to the west of Clearwater is a sea turtle and sea bird nesting site. Free parking is available in Morgan Park, just yards from the beach.

2. Indian Rocks Beach

This beach will give you more of an “old Florida” feel, with small motels, vacation cottages, and early-20th century shell and sand roads. The Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve across the street is definitely worth a visit!

3. Redington Shores

The tiny town of Redington Shores offers vacation rentals, restaurants, and lots of amenities for fishing. This quiet beach is a wonderful place to take in spectacular Florida sunsets. With just a short boardwalk to the water, this beach has showers and restrooms available
