Go on a Safari in West Palm Beach

When you think of West Palm Beach, the word “safari” may not be the first that comes to mind. Sun? Sure. Beaches? Most definitely. But an animal safari is usually reserved for an African adventure. However, you don’t need to go to Africa to see some pretty amazing creatures. Instead, our crew at Carl’s Van Rentals suggest that you take a day trip to Lion Country Safari.

Lion Country Safari is Florida’s only drive-through wildlife adventure where you can see hundreds of creatures from the comfort of your own vehicle. But you don’t have to stay in. You can opt to do either the walking or driving safari. Either way, you can see lions, ostriches, alpaca, and more.

Plus, you can enjoy some pretty fun attractions, including:

  • Animal encounters: Ever wonder what it might be like to have a giraffe or a parakeet feed right out of your hand? Wonder no more at one of the feeding stations. You can also get up close to some beloved creatures at the petting zoo.
  • Rides: From water slides to toddler trains, you can find rides for all ages. The great part is that all ride costs are included in the price of admission.
  • Animal Theater: Get to know more about some of the park’s animals at the daily shows and presentations. Be sure to check the schedule when you arrive, because it changes daily.
  • Dining: You can plan to enjoy lunch while on safari by taking advantage of the park’s dining options. You can opt for a cafeteria-style meal, grab a bite from a snack shack, or just go straight for the ice cream.

Lion Country Safari has even more to offer and is a great way for individuals and families to spend a day in West Palm Beach.

To maximize your safari experience, we recommend that you book one of our minivans or passenger vans. That way, your group can have plenty of space during your adventure, and everyone can have a good view of the animals. To make a reservation, contact Carl’s of West Palm Beach at (561) 469-9200, or book online.
